SWAGGER 002 - Adeleke Sijuwade

Adeleke Sijuwade is a Nigerian born fashion designer. I first heard about this exquisite man through a friends blog. In Spring 2009 he launched an Olori collection which features vibrantly colored handmade dresses and some fly jumpsuits in distinctively Afro-oriented prints, very similar to our capulanas. He has dressed Tyra Banks, Erykah Badu and Chanel Iman amongst many others. But this post is not about his work, as fly as it may be. It's about his personal style. He's said before "Style is never planned, never calculated, it is something you do, it is your identity". I find it hard to believe he never plans an outfit because his fashion sense is tailored to perfection. But i guess, when you have it, you have it. Mozambican men, take some damn notes.
